Moomooga Ona Palu

Palu just recently made the journey from Hawkes Bay to Canterbury last year after a successful few seasons with Hawkes Bay Tui side. Since being here, Play has made quite the impression. Following a dominant club season up north and in Christchurch, Palu joined the Canterbury FPC squad where she was part of another championship for the Canterbury side.

2023 was Ona's second year in Matatū colours where she once again provided dominant impact from off the bench.

Ona also plays an important role in Matatū's pre-game routine, arranging our players' hair into stunning braids before each match.
