Amy Rule

It may be hard to believe but Amy Rule only began playing rugby in her final year at High School in 2018. After moving up to Christchurch for university in 2019, it was that very same year she debuted for Canterbury in the Farah Palmer Cup.

After impressing in this she gained selection in New Zealand's development side at the end of 2019. In 2020 she was also part of the New Zealand Barbarians side. Following a rapid rise to the professional stage, it wasn’t long before Rule made her Black Ferns debut in 2021. In 2022, she was again part of the Black Ferns squad and was another key player in the Black Ferns winning World Cup side.
